Pinot Grigio, Passaparola 2011

Pale lemon, almost water-white with green tinges, a clean fresh zesty nose with hints of citrus and a touch of banana on the nose, this is serious Pinot Grigio, not to be confused with generic dry white wines of the same name. This has real structure and lovely texture on the palate; it combines pear, apple and pineapple with a distinct inerality and long finish.

A pronounced, herbaceous nose with plenty of ripe gooseberries, guava and nettles on the nose – very typically Marlborough style. The palate is crisp, racy and mouthwatering with hints of grapefruit, guava and gooseberry followed by a long, enticing finish.

Pinot Noir Rose, Villa Wolf 2011

A delightful pale salmon colour, with a vibrant nose of strawberries and plums. Delicate and gentle, yet very fruit forward, it is a well balanced off-dry style rosé. The palate is bursting with fresh fruit, which persists through the long finish.
